Top Down character controler help

hi,
im trying to develop a android top down (camera feezed) game style, something like an labirinth, prety easy, but i don't know how to do it...

i maded all the scene, the character, the menu, but i don't know how to make my character move with the joypad on the screen and facing for award...

if it a has a code, tell me, and explain how put this in my game PLEASE!!!
