Toon Shader?

    Hi,

    Can Unity do toon shaders? I was thinking of a cool game concept that would depend on this.

    I would want a black outline around all objects, and 2-4 levels of color for shading.

    Yes. We've even done the basic shaders for you!

    They are installed in a separate package. Either select them from the list of packages to include when building a new project from scratch, or just choose Assets/Import Package, and point the file selector to /Applications/Unity/Standard Packages/Toon Shading.unityPackage.

    The actual number of lighting edges are read from a cubemap. Take a look at how the sample materials are set up, and just work from the texture included

    Yes, I deffinetly need to shell out $250 for the indie version.. And then some more $$$$ for a good 3D app...
