Bug TMPro: "\t" doesn't show until edited after set active

    Notice "\t" for tab - if I were to manually edit the text (anything/anywhere in any form), the \t will magically turn into a tab.

    Not that any fix would be backported to the version of Unity that I use (even if an incredibly recent version...), but here ya go. No time for any further info - that's for QA.

    Is this in an Input Field or a TMP text component?

    I gather those object are disabled and already contain this \t. Correct?

    When set active the "\t" shows up instead of displaying as a tab?

    I presume the expected behavior is for the \t to be a tab.

    This fix would be in the TMP package itself so no need for backport.
