Feature Request TMP Dropdown insane value sorting order

Hi, I would like to report a bug/limitation about the dropdown in TMPro.

I want to edit the Canvas sorting order in the Dropdown List to show it behind the actual main dropdown box, but for some reason, the sorting order is always set to 30000.

A field to edit it from the inspector would be great. Thanks.

 

There is a workaround posted in another thread: https://forum.unity.com/threads/dropdowns-order-in-layer.403492/. It requires adding a whole new script just to rewrite the sortingOrder.

Maybe this should not be hardcoded.
