TMP BG transparency still rendered

    Hi I am using TMP with a button. I changed the source Image of the Image Component. But the sprite has a transparency background and that background is still rendered. cowboy3.png
    Instead of only cowboy I get the background as well. I could not find anything with TMP but I did find solutions for normal Text/Texture/Legacy UI. Has anyone figure it out?

    I don't know if you did it on purpose for the sake of this post, but the background of that image is not transparent, the checkerboard is opaque.

    I did not draw it I just took one from google/internet. TY I thought it was transparent changed it into transparent works instant TY TY. How did you notice it was transparent?

    If it were transparent, the checkerboard would not have appeared when you posted it here in the unity forums. You will only see checkerboard where there's transparency in image editing software like photoshop/gimp or on websites that render the checkerboard intentionally so you don't think there's a white background.
