It was only a preview though. It wasn't stable or anything. If you had a build that worked for 5.6, you weren't really using stable 5.6, but just a preview test version. It is not a 5.6 feature (see roadmap: https://unity3d.com/unity/roadmap) Timeline is a feature slated for 2017, so if you are really invested in that, it will be available in version 2017, and you can find more information here: https://forum.unity3d.com/threads/timeline-experimental-preview-release-1.455265/
I know that it's 2017 feature but Im working on a project that I really need that timeline even if its preview, I already download 2017 but had an issue with license and I couldn't even use the personal which don't know why. so ,I remove that, anyway thanks for your links and answer. So I think I should forget about timeline now and find another solution.
