Searched the forums a few times, and from what I gather there's no audio support built into Timeline as yet? By 'audio support', I mean that it seems as if basic audio control just... isn't supported by Timeline at all, which seems like a weird oversight, hence this post. e.g. Play/Pause/Resume... Can someone confirm? Using 2019.1.9.f1 (Example: if I pause a timeline, audio seems to get out of sync, etc)
Timeline linearly samples state, so the Audio Track doesn't work that way (the "action/method" way, that it cause a discrete play/pause/resume) It is just that the playhead is here, so you are hearing this bit of audio. If you want to command the AS via timeline like that maybe just use Marker + Signal Receiver and drag AS reference to it then call the public method? Though I don't know if the inside ended up doing play/pause for us or not since audio playable code is not source visible. But it do require AudioSource as a binding, but maybe just an output of sorts. (e.g. checking play state of the AS won't return playing while the audio is heard via Timeline? Haven't check.)
