    TILEY
Hey folks c: I'm working on a small tileset-editor for top-down 2D games Tiley, since I can't wait for Unity to finish theirs. It's inspired by the RPG Maker series and designed to be as compatible and lightweight as possible to make it easy to add it to any existing project! I'd love to hear your ideas & feedback and would like to share some screens with you :)

Thumbsup for good ol' RPGM tilesets!

Tiley is also designed to be as customizable and flexible as possible to fit your project's needs.

    Implemented Features
    • Flexible tile-size & In-editor Grid-snapping
    • Draw by clicking or dragging to draw multiple tiles at once
    • Bult-in support for Unity's 2D Sorting Layers, allowing to place tiles on different layers
    • Sample the currently selected tile by right-clicking
    • Use any 2DTexture as a tileset, no special asset needed
    • Only 1 Script (and a few icon-images) needed to import Tiley into your project
    • Erase-Tool that deletes tiles on single or multiple Layers
    • Collision-Paint-Tool that easily allows you to draw 2D-Colliders w. support for Unity's Collision Layers
    • Directly specify the size of your colliders or add a scale before drawing for ease of use with in-Editor preview

    • 3rd party support for A* Pathfinding Project, automatically configure your Grid Graphs to work with Top-Down 2D & Unity's 2D Colliders

    To-Do's
    • Multiselection-Drawing to paint multiple tiles from the tileset at once
    • Multiselection-Copy to copy multiple placed tiles at once and move them around
    • AutoTiles If you've used any RPG-Maker at all, you probably know how handy these things are. Example by Kadoba
    • Fill-Tool

I try to post regular updates on Tiley on my Twitter. If you have any ideas, feedback or even feature-ideas reach out me there or directly here in the thread! I plan on releasing it on the Asset Store, once it's finished :)

RPG Map Editor is more of an all-around solution, which I don't aim for, rather something lightweight for people like me who only need the map-editing aspects. Thus, I plan on providing Tiley at a much lower price point.
