Tile Map Renderer material

    Hi,
    I can't seem to understand how the new Tile Map Renderer is affected by its material...

    Here the Tile Map Renderer uses the default Sprite-Default, and renders just fine.

    Here I set the material of the Tile Map Renderer to Default-Diffuse, and it remains black no matter the ammount of light present in the scene.
    I checked the Layer logic, I don't think the problem comes from that. Ideally, I would like my map to render like the Sprite in my scene, I don't even know if it's a bug or if my understanding of the expected behavior of the Tile Map Renderer material is wrong.

    Any insight on how to fix this problem and if it's a bug at all ?
