    Hello world ! :)

I'm just starting with learning unity and i thought that buying a book would help me, so i did some researches and found out a bunch of them talking about different aspects of the game development, from the basic tutorials and scripting basic knowledge to the advanced level ones, and like i said, being a beginner my self, i kept looking for the ones that will suit me the most and i found these two books :
So my questions are the following :
    • Are these 2 books good for someone like me ?
    • Have anyone read one of those, or the 2 of them, so he can give me his thoughts about them ?
    • Do i have to get the 2 of them, or only the first will help me (since it's a general guide) ?
    • Do you know any other books i must have a look at other than these 2 ?
Money is not a problem as long as the books would help me, but i won't really go with buying more that 2/3 :p

    Thank you ! :D

well obviously I recommend my book Unity in Action :p

But in general I'm wondering, do you already know how to program? For example, my book assumes you already know how to program and are new to Unity, but you might need a book that teaches programming from scratch. It's hard to say which book is best for you without knowing anything about your background.

Oops, i must say that i forgot to talk about my knowledge, let's just say that i know the basics of the c# (variables, loops, conditions ...) but not much about the OOP, so a book that covers that + the basics of unity/game development would be great :p

    Hi,
I have Unity in Action and find it is very good on programming. I have never used C#, but been prgamming for about ten years. I had no problem, it is a good book.
