I was wondering if someone had any idea on how one could structure some kind of schedule for when they're learning unity/game dev in general.

Aside from being a helpful starting point, it would be overall useful for people like me, who need a plan and set goals per day/week/month in order to not get distracted. Obviously something like this would change per person, but I was wondering how other people would go about creating some kind of general template for others too look at, if this makes any sense?

I'm sure I could give you a schedule, but only you'd be able to follow it through :)
I just say that to point out that you have to choose what you're willing to try and willing to do.

If you are looking to learn and practice unity - set aside some time to learn, each day (or when you can).
The most effective learning, in my opinion, is to start at the beginning, using help like: https://unity3d.com/learn
and going over a little bit at a time and practicing until you feel comfortable.

It can arguably also be fun to just try anything that peeks your interest, but overall you'll gain a lot by studying and practicing - just like anything else :)
I think, when you try that for a while, you'll find what is comfortable for you (naturally)..

Thanks for the response :) I think the closest I'm going to get to a "schedule" is just determining a goal while im not at my computer, like when I'm at work or something, and then doing my best to complete or at least start that and learn what I can from it. It's not really a schedule but it's working so far. For example I'm going through some basic YouTube tutorials right now.
My goal I came up with at work was to get to a certain point in those video tutorials. My goal for tomorrow is to reproduce the project made in the tutorial, without needing to refer to the video or other resources.

Its not much but its a start. Eventually the goals will get bigger, when I know more, I already have a small mobile 1 click game in mind that I'm hoping I can make by the end of these videos. It's basically my own personal final project.
