    I think that an "open" controller to other pathfinding or other kind of solution will make the difference. Now it is to much closed and it is a limitation for many kind of games.
    Now my dilemma ...use your control or another ??
    I would like to use your becuase from movement point of view is the best, but I need a more sophisticated AI Manager ( We use Behiavor Tree, Apex Path, A* and other in house tools ) ...
    I would evaluate to wait for the new relase, If I would know your ETA ( at least appromaxitely )
    Other option could be to know the API or refactor the AI Script you are using, but not sure if, with a new release coming, it worths the effort. Looking forward to hearing from you @Invector

    We have thought about create an asset just for AI in the future, but for now our focus is on the Character Controller, the AI is just a fancy bonus as I say earlier... But yeah the AI does have several improvements on v2.0, and we're almost finishing, you guys will receive notification in your emails when we release this update :)

    Has anyone encountered any problems checking Invector into P4, version control software? Any problems with the animator or collision after checking Invector into P4? If so, are there any solutions to these problems?

    I just discovered this Amazing Asset!!! I am wondering before I rush out and buy it on payday if both the Shooting Version and the Melee version are the same product or not. And if they are not., And I going to be able to combine the two?? Because the game I am working on uses both hand to hand combat and guns and rifles.

    Do you want melee or basic?

    hmmm I really don't know much about P4, we have always use source tree + github... no issues at all

    You can upgrade from the Basic Locomotion to the Melee Combat and soon to the Shooter as well :)

    So Clooose :eek: - we're getting very excited to release this new update!
    And there will be several new video tutorials too!

    Awesome buying the melee on payday. I just want to make sure my character could use a sword and a pistol in the same game with your tools. Now all you giys need is Photon integration and some exploding crates and UFPS will have a serious competitor . ;)

    I'm working in a mobile game and I'd need to know how I can control the camera movement (rotation,...), pinch zoom, etc.

    Yes we have plans to add the swimming in the package, right after we finish the Shooter template :)
    it will be include in all versions.

    Give a try and download the [.APK] of the MeleeCombat v1.3, keep in mind that the upcoming version v2.0 will have major changes and improvements on performance!

    If you integrate with ICE Creature Control, it has built in object avoidance that works fine outdoors, as well as integration with A*Pathfinding for cramped areas. Worth a closer look once the shooter is out.

    It's on the list guys, we already contact ICE dev and we have the asset, but as we already post a few pages back we will do Integrations after a stable release of the Shooter ;)

    Is it possible to apply damage to the character through a Particle System, i.e. without using a collider in the area, for example. My idea is a water jet that activates the ragdoll and damages the character when it crosses ahead.

    Not yet.

    You can use a collider and turn on when you activate the particle. Use the vObjectDamage to apply damage and turn on the ragdoll

    Good question, but it's up to the AssetStore to invite us for the sales.

    Sure, it works on pretty much anything but if you have too many enemies on screen it could be a little annoying lol

    We already have a example of casting spells but we want to improve and add more options in the future :)

    Just turn on the "Apply RootMotion" option on the Animator Component, and about the mesh disapier.. I think you can check the "Update When Offscreen" option on the Skinned Mesh Renderer of your model.

    That looks like the right hand is aligned to the center of the collider. While the left hand is just part of the animation.

    Actually they both to far from the edge. This is the same animation(default), but applied to my model. May be my model rig or something else could be cause of this bug.

    Did you try lowering the target point of the Climb Up trigger? (I don't remember names right now, it's a sphere collider)

    Yes, but in this case hands lowered in some places too heavily. Solved it with script.

    This might be a bit off-topic , but I'm curious how do people go about adding facial animation to their characters.
    There is a few pretty cool lipsync assets in the assetstore, such as LipSync pro,so could it be used together with third person controller?
    Also curious to know if you guys think it's a complete overkill for an indie game :D

    It's somewhat off topic, but I'll take the bait. Usually when a model is created, it is crated with "morphs" or shapekeys in which the facial mesh is contorted a certain way by moving certain vertices for faces. These are used to make facial expressions, and if you're character talks, it's important to have the proper morphs or modifiers set up for your mouth. This is usually something done completely outside of unity, but can be imported and worked with. Heck, I think even Lipsync Pro can be used with Blender facial morphs, but I could be wrong.

    Depends... if you manage to put the rig on humanoid (head, spine, arms, legs), maybe...
    we actually never test, but you can add extra bones on the humanoid window

    In the game industry the phrase "goes gold" comes from the term "gold master", which is a version of the game that its publisher has determined is good enough to be shipped to stores. So when a game "goes gold", it means that development on the game is done, and the game is ready to be sold.

    Great Demo, but i have a hard time with it. Is it possible to fix the camera to the enemy in a fight ? I often end with the players backside to the enemy while fighting.
