    Check out the Freeware game Cave Story.

    Awesome soundtrack on that one.

    Yep, i've played it through sometime last year. Fantastic gameplay! It would be interesting to see how much mood actually comes from the pixel art and how the game would feel with todays graphics.

    Oh man cave story is the coolest. I love that game.

    The nice thing about the game is that is has gameplay and depth.

    Due to that a screenupdate might not be synchronised with the vertical bank it can happen that you see both the image of the old and the new picture at the same time.

    If you made any changes in the scene (transforms) you will notice a horizontal border from where on the content is displaced and so there are two halves of a scene which are teared apart from each other => tearing.


    Back to buisness: ...and the steering is well done...
