Bug "There are no changes found in the workspace" - unable to checkin, undo, or otherwise change project

    I'm getting an odd bug here -- I tried to make a commit to my group's project and plastic has just spit out the error that there are no changes in the workspace, despite there clearly being at least 13 in the list. Undoing changes does nothing at all (doesn't clear from the list either). Manually making changes and undoing them also don't seem to update the list. Refresh doesn't work either. What gives? Ludum Dare is coming up and my team is sort of freaking out that Plastic is janking out so hard with this.

    Hi,

    Can you try to run the following command in a cmd or terminal window?:

    Code (CSharp):
    1. cm ci --all --private
    Also please be sure to have the latest plasticSCM version installed from https://www.plasticscm.com/download.

    Hi.

    Any clue to solve this issue?
    We are facing the same problem since yesterday, a scene is not checkin out just with the "There are no changes in the workspace" error.
    Using Unity 2020.3.30f1 and plastic latest package ( 1.15.18).
    Tried cm ci --all --private in a console but still sends all but the mentioned scene.

    Our project is stuck at this moment. Any help will be very appreciated.

    Hi @Xagu, could you open a ticket at devops-vcs-support@unity3d.com? We can try to debug it or even arrange a meeting with you.

    The first thing to debug is if the problem is with the plugin or not.

    If you run the following command, we can check if Plastic is tracking any pending change in your workspace:
    Code (Boo):
    1. cm status --all
    Are you saving the changes in the scene? Can you check if the file timestamp is changing on disk?

    Thanks for your reply.

    Yes, the file timestamp is changing on disk. On the screenshot the change is detected but never sent.
    We have found a workaround by duplicating the scene locally and working on the duplicated one. This new one checkouts ok but the original one is still stuck.

    Ok we'll open a ticket but not now.

    We are on a tight deadline and will do it in 2 or 3 weeks. For now we will try to work with the duplicated scene.
