The WASP Interdictor - A space ship kit and amazing VR Cockpit experience

The WASP Interdictor is an example of the experience that is absolutely wonderfun, that is enveloping your senses and transporting you into the space fighter cockpit. It just a great way to get started with VR Development after all!

This kit includes everything you can think of. There's a lot of customization possible with its scripted parts for mounted gun and radar tracking, nozzle flaps animation controller, and thrusters effects.

COCKPIT
Enjoy the adventure in a VR-Ready cockpit covering HUD, center stick, thrust level, pedals, and a detailed reflective canopy glass.




SHIP MODEL
The Space Fighter is counting about 17K triangles in total and features two different 2048 texture sets.




TRACKING CONTROLLER
The easy setup includes the animated mounted parts where scripts manage the elevation-heading limits and control the tracking speed.




NOZZLE FLAPS CONTROLLER
Will do the most of the work animating the position of each nozzle flap in response to commands from the script. The options include Flap Position, Limit, and Speed.




BACKGROUND SCENERY
The Terrestrial prefab from the well-known Planets Pack is included along with the customizable skybox shader enabling several layers of cube maps, post recoloring options and more.



CUSTOMIZATION
The combination of 2048 texture maps along with the Substance Painter sources and an additional PSD enables full customization of the Ship and Cockpit with all requirements you have in mind.

Does this work with regular urp shaders with normal materials not substances.

Also is the model 1 mesh or in multiple parts/meshes?

 

This doesn't require substances and works with regular URP shaders. Its a multiple parts/meshes model, with cockpit separated from the model. There are model with reflective canopy without the cockpit interior and also the interior model good for pilot view.
