    1) Asset Store links don't work in firefox (unusable)
    I mean come on

    2) The "old asset store" link is broken
The front-end is not ready. Sure it's responsive mobile friendly now, but who develops games on their phone? Give us the old one.

    3) You can't search by file size anymore?
There is an enormous amount of assets on the store that are literally 10 times bigger or more than they need to be and I want to be able to separate the bloated stuff from properly optmized pro work.

I'm really disappointed. I guess you don't want my money.

They had a 6 month beta period where they did exactly nothing. No updates, no improvements, despite a large amount of feedback from users and asset developers. Shame.

Clear your Internet cookies and then ensure you click to keep the old version on the page. The new version is awful for multiple reasons. Failing that, you can use your phone to find the assets you like then do a direct search on your pc to view/buy/download the asset. In fact I've had to search for the asset I want to download into my project then open from within the browser; the key problem for me at least is that the browser within Unity3D doesn't always refresh, and just leaves me with a white screen. It never used to be like that.

The mobile version is completely horrendous can't zoom have to assets don't even fit on the screen and there's no way to scroll to even see the future full View very disappointing I don't know why they keep trying to force garbage design on us

I was going to recommend the Android app Hermit which allows you full control over creating apps from websites. Worked wonders for the Asset Store, but now I've just realised that it's defaulted to the new version without the option to use the old version. Now it's completely cluttered with junk, images are cropped through the text, and really makes no sense as all. Surely simplicity is best for the UI; to search and find what you'll looking for it in the shortest possible time. These changes are an inconvenience for the user, and a consequently the potential for loss of sales for the developer, and especially those not 'featured'.

Thanks everybody, it's good to know I'm not the only one frustrated by this.

Yeah it doesn't work for me. This method did work about a month ago for me. That's what I was doing, but it redirects to the new one.

Yeah sorry you're right, I've just realised the option doesn't work any more for me either. Will save me money though ;) I spent far too long browsing the old Asset Store, I've personally got no intention of browsing the new one. Just a pity as some affordable and decent new assets appear once in a while and won't even be noticed.

Same here I will no longer be buying assets off the asset store for one I can't find them anyway on my phone and for two it's just annoying 2 search that long for any asset when I got to view them one at a time. Guess I'll check back in a few months and see if they've made it usable yet but makes me wonder what they think.

So not only does it only allow you to look at 1 asset at a time which is already completely stupid but when I click on characters it brought up a car position scripting tool how is that a character why is this Alpha trash forced upon us.
After further review all my asset that i bought no longer have tags and can not be seperated out anymore by date or type... So i have too look through 100s to find an asset ive purchased. Further more i can not filter assets from the general store in any way that i notice.. ??? Other than what ever trash unity wants me to look at.. Just wow.. See ya asset store nice knowing you..been using unity since 2012 but when decissions like this are made i think to myself Maybe unreal would rather get my cash from here on out..

Yeah I understand the frustration. I want to give them a chance to fix things though. They really need to get on it. I wasn't trying to sow despair, I just was hoping somebody from unity might see this and get the issues resolved.

Look for the Feedback tab on the right side of the page. Make your voices known.

The Asset Store folks have put a lot of work into much-needed backend updates which by their nature go unseen and relatively unappreciated by customers.

Specific, actionable front-end feedback should help them bring the public-facing part of the store up to everyone's expectations, too.

I guess the sales stats after one month of the new design will show how much lost sales they have and that will make the focus on improving the store very urgent.

I agree. The ideal approach would be to show assets at the forefront based on the user's recent purchase and browsing history, both Amazon and Steam do this. Amazon is an excellent (though not perfect) template to base it on. It also be customised, like a feed, so that you select the categories that appear on the front screen, such as new insects or flora, under a certain price. Far more useful than seeing the same old assets constantly displayed on the front screen, made even worse now they've introduced those large banners.
