    The Last Hope For All is a FPS taking place in an infected part of the United states. TLHFA offers a variety of play modes in rich and varied scenarios with a huge amount of content.

    Story

    The new virus first appeared eight months ago. The US government had assured us that the outbreak was under control and isolated. They managed to contain the virus and moved samples to three different research laboratories in order to further study this deadly new strain. Now eight months later, the research lab in Washington has stopped responding to radio and satellite calls. My special forces squad was sent there to investigate and re-establish communications. We were hoping that it was just a radio problem ... We were completely wrong! Unfortunately this mission would surpass my worst nightmares.

    Today we show the animation of The Last Hope For All.

    With 3 model :

    - Zombie
    - Spec ops

    The different animation is :

    - Addition of a model of legs as well as the animations

    What mean that when players look at the ground he will see the legs of a person and will can see the animations during the movements

    Here, you can see all models of “enemies“ & “ friends”, test weapons, shoot zombies etc …

    - A new texture for sleeves (arms player)

    - HUD for Health & Ammo

    - Splash & Loading levels

    - M1911 Silencer (Weapon & Prefab (Pickup & Ammo))

    - More ammo & health (Level 01)

    - Animation for Rangers model

    - Animation for Zombie Female

    - Ram bug (in the editor)

    The level 02 is almost ended, we work on the optimization of the level.The "Flash Back"* game mode moves forward well, the first level " Station police " is also almost ended, we have to integrate the enemy spawns by using a new system of NPC.

    – Steam Store page is almost done.
    – Release date is not available for now (we would want to release it at the end of March but nothing is safe).
    – About the price, for now (see lower) the price is $9.99 USD.

    And now ?
    Now, we work hard on the new AI system for the Flash Back game mode (randomly levels), the scaning system works perfectly but now we need to change some things with the other AI scripts.

    What about the price ?
    For the early access release the game will contain : 1 level of the campaign, The Island map Peagasus Project and the « Police Station » Flash Back game mode.
    For the « final » release, the game will contain : 5 campaign levels, 2 maps for Peagasus Project and the Police Station.

    We rethought the campaign because we think that we shall not arrive has to plunge the player into the scenario with only 5 levels, this is why we make an « Episode 2″ with 5 more levels, 2 maps for Peagasus Project and « The Lab » for the Flash Back game mode. We hope you enjoy this news :)

    So, for the early access the price is $9.99 USD, the « Episode 2″ will be release with the « final » release, so the first week the « Episode 2″ will be an free update for the early access customers, after the first week the « final » release price will be of 16.99$ USD.

    It looks like you have put a lot of time into "The Last Hope For All".

    Roadblock #2 reminds me of Resident Evil.
    I like the dark atmosphere of your outdoor scenes.

    Looking forward to your games progress.

    Hey Defcon - you have some very nice quality assets. Texture work looks good.
    It kind of looks like the arms on the characters are a little too long, but it might just be the render angle in the images. It looked like they were a little too long in the video above also, but it might be just the leg position of the characters.


    You might want to consider working with an American to write your story content. It doesn't make very much sense and it's instantly noticeable it's written by a non-American just by the way you reference areas and locations.

    Being a semi-literate American myself- I attempted to rewrite the piece you provided above, but it makes so little sense, I couldn't rewrite it without creating logic that isn't provided.

    Either way - if the story is an essential part of the game I'd suggest getting some assistance as soon as you can, because if gameplay plots are being created from the story - it isn't going to be well received.

    Here is my attempt:

    If you like it, you can use it.



    Notes:

    *Americans usually refer to their own government as "US Government"

    *In terms of game stories the "Government" is often considered to be doing something nefarious and sneaky, but almost always its private companies that are really controlling everything and who are responsible for researching nasty viruses and being super evil. This this the standard tried and tested formula that works the best I think.

    *I guessed that your main character is in an elite squad or something along those lines.

    That music is wonderful. Great audio presentation. Visually it's a little slow I think, and there is still a lot of lighting work to do, but for a iterative build - it's looking good.
    Piano work is high bar stuff.

    About alpha, we work on a small problem and we want to fixe it before release the alpha, the game i playable and fluid but we want to test it on more PC and fixe the little problem.

    New Dev Update is here !

    Saddened not to have given news since the last update but us were occupied a lot with the alpha.

    Before all... ALPHA is READY

    The alpha is completely ready, we see at present thermal baths legal of the game, once thermal baths legal adjusted, the alpha will go out.

    We also prepare a campaign for Steam Greenlight, more info soon.

    Thus today, no announcements on fixes, just to tell you that always adds us there and the project continues !
