DOTS is cool, but is not necessary to be used with new transport package. In fact, we revised many code something like Update/FixUpdate to make classic framework work with ECS.

DOTS-netcode stable is a year out, at least. The preview Fall 2019... As it says on the GitHub page says for the FPS sample: "As more and more features of Unity become available in ECS-aware versions, we will migrate to them." So, as DOTS-networking comes I am assuming based off that statement they will indeed migrate to it.

Also what is DOTS-Networking even? The FPS sample already uses ECS, so I'm assuming it just a collection of abstracted features that games in general will use but with ECS, burst compiler, and the jobs system.
