Hi Guys... since the first beta we don't have the possibility to build for webplayer (option grayed out)...

it's only our problem or it's a normal beta behaviour? I can read on release notes some major improvements for the webplayer, so I thought it's our problem..

    ----------------------

SORRY... read only now the latest release notes...

    so the second question..

do you planned a date to go out of beta stage?

sorry for the question, but we started some new project in unity3 and we need to know when we can release it for the web.

thanks.. and sorry again for the stupid question!

Has anyone noticed configurable joints behaving differently. I used joint drives heavily for motion in my 1.7 iphone game, and when I upgraded it to 3.0 b5, the joints all behave erratically. The other thing is that position drives require a maximum force > 0 to move the object even though max force only applies to velocity based joint drives.

I couldn't figure out if that's a bug or part of the Physx upgrade.

Although only glas balls and UT know the date, I would be willing to enter bets that clearly say it will happen after next friday over happening next friday and earlier ;) (there are still things that need to be resolved but more over need to be optimized especially before the release. So far shaders etc didn't get looked at and optimized that much from what I know and thats fine cause opting shaders for a tech not settled at that point only causes performance probs at the end of the day ;))

    Hi Pyro,

If you haven't received your beta yet, please email sales@unity3d.com and we'll get you sorted out.

How long is it usually taking people to get their beta invites now? I bought Unity Pro yesterday, and I'm just trying to figure out when I can get my hands on the new version.

I got my beta e-mail the next day... unfortunately still no serial yet (4 days in), so I can't use it.

The serial number is in the email confirmation you got when you bought Unity 3!

If you didn't check the box for receiving future emails from UT then you're not going to receive the beta download email. If you have your receipt email contacts sales@unity3d.com with your license code. If you haven't received your receipt email, check your junk folder, THAT one should have been immediate.

It's supposed to be instant? That's worrying - I only got the credit card confirmation from their merchant, nothing from Unity. I've checked the spam folder and nothing. In any case, I'm just waiting on an e-mail reply from sales.

I received my "License information from Unity Technologies" email at the same time I received my receipt from RBS WorldPay.

Is it unusual that sales wouldn't have replied back after 2 days? I'm starting to wonder if there's an e-mail issue and if I should try contacting them by another method.

Did you receive an automated response with a reference number that looked like this:

No, I only received 2 e-mails: one from WorldPay, and the other with a beta download link.

(It may be unrelated, but the only e-mails I received have been ones not from sales@unity3d.com)

Hey there, Thaqui. Sorry to hear about that. We do our best to get back to customers within one working day-- for some reason or another, it looks like your mail to us didn't make it into the system.

Please check your inbox for your serial number and license information. :)

    Cheers,

I just sent through an e-mail (the e-mail will be from the domain @xtra.co.nz). If it doesn't come through, can you reply here and I'll try from a different e-mail address.

    Thanks for the help!

Edit: Thank you! It just arrived.
