    Hi Phex

It's the by hand that interests me, so it's the tile set I'm interested in, looks good. Thanks for the clarification.

cheers. I wasn't sure if you used separate images or atlases or whatever. Figured with you optimizing a scene where an entire level uses less polys than the character that you would have optimized the textures for draw counts also...

...but the "not a minute spent in photoshop" comment in real enticing! :D

    Kudos!

You can simply browse the textures on the assetstore.
    Retexuring this isn´t rocket science...

Love this set! I have been replacing the textures and some parts with my own to make it look more modern.

    Hi,

I just bought the kit and I have to admit that I'm disappointed.

I love the style, the texture and everything around but, am I wrong or we can not create our own room?

I mean I do not see the pieces necessary to create a room, just a wall, a ground, a door and a roof allowing us to create what we want.

Now there is only a room, a long room and a large room, I can not create a game with that stuff, why do you not supply the base?

Sorry, but in this state I lost my money.

I´m sorry that you are disappointed, but it is a tileset - not a room construction kit.
It´s not that easy to just throw out some pieces. The rounded ceiling is a problem
    in that case.

Maybe i´ll try to figure out how it can be solved and give it out as a free update.
But this may take some time.

    Hi Phex,

    Thanks for your prompt answer.

I understand it is not easy to do but if you could do it, when you will have time, it will be a lot helpful.

For now I will rate it 3 starts, I will change it to 5 once you provide the stuff, that you already have, and I'm convinced that if you do it your asset will be the best construction kit on the asset store.

Textures, elements, lights, spirit, everything is good, just need these parts, without for me it is useless, and I must not be the only one.

    Regards,

    Fairtree

    Hi Phex,

something for the Treasure Chest Corpus: Can you provide it with a mesh collider instead of a box collider?
Then you can put items into it and target them with a raycast without hitting the corpus box all the time.

    Thanks
    Regards
    Mario

So, basically you are rating this package with 3 stars because you didn't read the description before buy?, if you take a look at the list of the assets included there's no mention of separate walls and in fact, you can only see "full" tiles when you browse the content on the assets store.
But even though you went ahead, bought it, and now you complain because the package doesn't fit your needs..... interesting behaviour......

    Hi Mario,

you can simply remove the boxcollider and give it a meshcollider,
Unity will automatically choose the right mesh for it.

    Hi Eskema,

You are right I was new to Unity and did not verify the content of the asset before buy it. My bad.

But I am still asking for the possibility to create a wall and a complete door, allowing me to create my own room, the rounded ceiling I will do without, even if it is very beautiful.

If asking this kind of thing, that represents so much work, and says that with it I would be totally satisfacted and transforms my 3 stars into 5 is unfair for you, so your comment is totally welcome and teaches me humility, thanks for your kindness.

hey phex, where are all those point lights coming from? how do we get rid of them? I just purchased your tile set.

ok, so I found all the point lights. got them out, now its getting towards mobile ready.

main problem is that just a few segments of the dungeon will immediately boost draw calls to 73 unless you zoom in to first person. so I'm trying to do a mesh combine, but I don't think this was really meant for mesh combining with 1 texture.

You can not combine a tile into one single mesh, because of the texture/material - sorry.
But you can combine all pieces of a dungeon that share the same texture/material.

For example, you can combine all the walls ceiling meshes into one. And all the floors,
all the wooden planks and all the doorframes and so on - you get the idea.

First off I must say that I really like this product. You done a great job.

Secondly, how do I modify it to work on Android? When I simply changed platforms from PC to Android (Unity 5) I got 18 error messages. All the errors were similar to the errors listed below:

    1. Assets/Standard Assets/Character Controllers/Sources/Scripts/ThirdPersonController.js(325,33): BCE0048: Type 'Object' does not support slicing.
    2. Assets/Standard Assets/Character Controllers/Sources/Scripts/ThirdPersonController.js(327,44): BCE0019: 'CrossFade' is not a member of 'Object'.
    3. Assets/Standard Assets/Character Controllers/Sources/Scripts/ThirdPersonCamera.js(141,9): BCE0005: Unknown identifier: 'currentHeight'.
    4. Assets/Standard Assets/Character Controllers/Sources/Scripts/ThirdPersonCamera.js(145,9): BCE0005: Unknown identifier: 'currentRotation'.

It seems to have a problem with the third person controller and the third person camera.

    Hi Jason,

i´m not a (unity) coder, so i just used the Standad Assets of Unity. Maybe you need to replace them with
newer Versions. The provided scripts are just an Addon for testing, not for production.
