Yes, i hope so. I also didn´t get a response from unitymagic so far.
We´ll see what happens in the next days. Otherwise i have to get a bit rude...

It´s just an update of a well selling product - couldn´t take to long to review it.

Maybe future products will be limited to two stores...

I have heard nothing from them either, after two separate inquiries. Not even an automated response. I'm guessing that GamePrefabs is dead, and operating purely on automatic.

So basically we lost our money and our update, I'm regretting my purchase on GamePrefabs. Dammit, more than 6 months waiting for an update, and now that we have cool material to play around with prototypes, we just got screwed :(

Why don't you just put out a statement saying that if somebody has paid for the asset, has a valid invoice number, then they can just contact you via private message with proof of purchase and you just forward them the updated files via private message/email ? You don't have to get bogged down with these jackass vendors, because in the end it's only hurting your reputation when it isn't directly your fault.

    Sure, thats the plan.
But they hold 50% royalties and now i have to care about updates for my self ?
We don´t talk about only 5 customers...

Phex - Thank you for pledging to take care of us customers left out in the cold by the failure of GamePrefabs. I'm assuming you've heard nothing from your repeated attempts, and neither have I. How should we proceed?

Select "View all of my transactions". My payment says it went to "Michal Meulenberg", the guy who owns GamePrefabs.

Arg. I purchased this a while back, too - but never saw there was an update till just now - and that it's not on the Asset Store... How can I get the updated version if I already purchased it outside Asset Store? (I had some posts and contact with Phex back when it came out - then my job took over and I lost track). :(

Phex, I PM'ed you my original invoice email from Game Prefabs, for the original Dinky Dungeons. Is there a way to get the update (can't get it from Asset Store, because I purchased it outside - so Unity Store has no record of me purchasing it from Game Prefabs... So can't update that way...). :(

On around page 3 of this thread, you can see my posts with questions I had after purchasing, where you helped me fix an issue I had with meshes - turned out to be another editor I'd imported, that was wreaking havoc with your meshes as well as others. Your help was much appreciated - as removing that conflicting editor solved many other issues I'd had.

Anyway - would love to get the update if there's some way I can download it outside the Asset Store?

GamePrefabs just emailed me a bit ago with link to download update (I'd purchased it there originally). But the zip file is corrupt (downloaded it 3 times to make sure it wasn't just a bad download). Should the filesize be: 28.7 MB? dinkydungeon_v12.zip

Danreid70 Eskema, if it works for jaimi you should try to download again.

...and make sure you have Unity 3.5 :)

Its your choice what product you want to buy.

If you are speculating on a price reduction, it will not happen :)

    Hey Phex

First saw your kit a few weeks ago and was very tempted. Then changed my mind. Then thought about it again... then changed my mind... then decided on the Dungeon Creator Kit... and changed my mind in favor of you again... just today I was hovering over the buy button again... I love what you are doing but am rather put off by the lack of texture variety... small issue, I'm sure, but that is my main issue at the moment.

I hate making textures and having infinite levels with the same texture set sounds like I am going to be forced into Photoshop... If I can make one feature request it would be for some variety in terms of look. In terms of rooms I think you are doing a great job of providing variety and cannot fault you on that. Kudos. So drop in 2 extra tile sets and you can finally force my finger to click instead of hovering... :D

And another little issue I can't believe nobody has ever brought to your attention... Did you realize that all your links on your website point to the same page you are on???? There are basically 2 pages you can swop between and all other links say (for example):
"My stuff is on TurboSquid. Click this TurboSquid link to reload this page you are on now"...

Probably not a major issue but I've been trying to contact you for weeks and couldn't do so though either the Asset Store nor your website ( since you have no contact details on your own website 0.o ). Now that I find this thread, I no longer have need to contact you... Irony, huh?

    Hey MrDude,

you can easily change the Floor and the Wall/Ceiling textures.
You can use any tiling texture of your choice. Everything else is a bit more special - yes.

More tilesets are planned for the future, but they will be sold as separate products.

I´ll check that link issue, thanks for pointing me to it.

Sorry if these are dumb questions, when the thread gets this long the details can be a bit hard to find.

    1. Can you build customer dungeons or is it click a button and a random dungeon is automatically created?
    2. The tile set is an upgrade for the "Dinky Dungeon Level Generator", so I need go get both for it to work?

    Looks really good.

    Cheers

This thread belongs to The Dinky Dungeon Tileset.
It contains all tiles you need to build a dungeon "by hand".
Click here to see the contents of the package

The "Dinky Dungeon Level Generator" is a separate produkt based on my tileset.

If you want to build your dungeon by hand, snapping the tiles to each other and placing
the crates and stuff where you want it, you only need the tileset.

If you want a powerfull random dungeon creation you also need the level generator.
NOTE: The Level generator from Vertex Stream doesn´t contain the models of this tileset.

So yes, you need to purchase both for random dungeons.

    The Tileset
    The Level Generator

Hopefully this is more clear now.
