    One thing you could try is to verify in the package panel what version of HDRP you are using. if you have upgraded from an older project it probably kept an older version.

    if there is an update available install it.

    Try creating a new HDRP Asset and see if that fixes it.

    They said "The property to enable in your HDRP Asset is: Lighting > Volumetric Clouds > Volumetric Clouds."

    I looking at HDRP Asset, just like says on this page, but there is no any Lighting -> Volumetric Clouds to enable on HDRP Asset.

    Then they said "The property to enable in your Frame Settings is: Lighting > Volumetric Clouds."

    I enabled this S*** in Frame Settings, but nothing happened.

    I restarted project, same.

    They also said "In the Inspector, navigate to Add Override > Sky and click on Volumetric Clouds", but nope. Still the same error.

    i fully agree this is a real pain and confusion

    i also had the not supported warning
    after click around for a bit i found i had not unified all my RenderPipelineAsset and Volumes to one set
    i had some volumes pointing to the unity default one and some pointing to the one i made

    but basically after this it worked

    i need to study how it happen
    it would be nice to have a tree style chart about all things overrides and asset profiles to see what i had duplicated or incorrect reference

    in short it does work but not so easy to find why things happen

    Note we also have the quality levels for high med and low that need to be set accordingly

    FYI on the HDRP Asset file you missed look under "Volumetrics" upload_2021-11-25_16-42-55.png

    I have joined you guys today.
    Problem looks like this:

    File->Project Settings-> Graphics-> HDRP Global Settings:

    Frame Settings (Camera):
    Lighting->Volumetric Clouds [Enable]

    Frame Settings (Real Time Reflection):
    Lighting->Volumetric Clouds [Enable]

    But also,

    File->Project Settings-> Graphics-> HDRP Global Settings -> Scriptable Render Pipeline Setting:
    Select the asset and:
    Lighting-> Volumetrics-> Volumetric Clouds.

    This is quite convoluted.
    They should have a button enable Volumetric Clouds everywhere, we will disable in places where we don't need it.

    If you make unique hdrp scriptable render pipeline settings, go to:
    project settings > graphics > select your asset
    In the inspector, make sure "screen space ambient occlusion" is checked under the lighting section.
    For volumetric clouds, open volumetrics and check that box.

    Hi
    In the Unity 2021.3, If you get this error message:
    upload_2022-9-14_4-10-7.png

    Do these steps:

    1. Find your current Scriptable Render Pipeline Settings from here:
    Project Settings -> Graphics -> Scriptable Render Pipeline Settings

    2. Select it and in the inspector window, Check Volumetric cloud option. To find it go to Lighting -> Volumetrics -> Volumetric Clouds

    3. Then go to Project Settings -> Graphics -> HDRP Global Settings -> Frame Settings -> Camera -> Lighting -> Volumetric Clouds

    upload_2022-9-14_4-25-48.png

    4. And finally, make sure that you selected the correct setting in Quality Settings
    i.e:

    upload_2022-9-14_4-28-22.png

    And then check the Volumetric Clouds:
