The caret is not visible on the input field

    From scratch, create an input field (UI) and run trying to write something. The cursor (Caret) in the textbox is not showing...Is it a bug? I think so...
    Windows 7 Nvidia 970 Unity 5.2.0

    Phil, your work around script does not work if the canvas is a child of a game object...

    Hmm not sure why that would be it shouldnt care where its located.
