The Calling Prologue, FPS game with lots of HP Lovecraft Influence

    So this is my project as it stands now. An Idea, not enough time just yet, slow progress and learning alot along the way.

    Its still very early in development but here are some of the details.

    It's still very much a work in progress. And everything from the website to the game itself is under development. But I would love if any of you are interested to subscribe to my YouTube Channel or Like the official Facebook page for this project and help me spread the word.

    Some more indepth details on this project I will post on the official facebook page in the coming days.

    For now I would like to say that is very heavily influenced story/setting wise by the Quick Start rules from The Call of Cthulhu pen and paper game adventure. Which you can find here

    This will not be a action shooter game. I want to focus on developing the main protagonist that you play and focus on setting, atmosphere, ambiance and some story telling.

    Some of the locations that you will if even briefly visit during this game will be The Nameless City, a locale similar to the setting in The Mountains of Madness, The subterranean depths from the story The Rats in the walls and who can forget Devils Reef. These will take place during flashback scenes in which you the character discover more about the Antagonist and how he came to be what he currently is. Victor Roerich is a very vile character. And it will be up to you John Mackey to uncover his evil machinations and to learn along the way the secret behind the visions that you suddenly keep having as you search his home looking for clues.

    As I said everything is very very much so a work in progress. But any exposure, support, comments anything helps me make this project come to life. So if you feel so inclined, please do help me spread the word.

    This will be a free to play game. But in the coming year I may start an indiegogo campaign to try to make the game even better, come out sooner and of course be as polished as I can make it.
