I edited the variables on the panel and pressed Ctrl+S but it doesn't seems saved. I opened AddressableAssetSettings.asset in text editor and confirmed it. The old profile that I deleted are still there and new value not applied. It doesn't get saved even after I rebuild the addressable. I don't know under what condition the panel will save the change because it does saved once before when I am playing with it.

I don't want to close the editor everytime just to have the change saved so that I could commit the fileschanges to git.

TBH, this is a very annoying issue in almost all other panels in Unity Editor except the frequently used hierarchy panel. You don't have anywhere to indicate there exist unsaved changes and you don't have a menu button to force a re-save.

    Update:

    I just restarted Unity Editor.
The changes is not saved and is lost.
After the restart, it can correctly detect Ctrl+S to save changes now.

I still think the editor need improvement about saving changes. Just in case the ctrl+s is somehow not working what I just experienced. I should still have a save button to press to trigger a save. There is currently no clear response about the saving. It just have a slight 0.1 second icon change on the mouse cursor. Its better to have a notification telling the user "saved." or similar.

    Any update on this?
I noticed the same bug with Unity 2021.3 LTS, it's even easier to see with a version control (I use git)
-> Change any profile settings and save
-> Version control shows no change (and closing the project would result in losing the change)

The change doesn't seem to be saved / updated until the AddressableAssetSettings itself is changed
    -> Change any profile setting
-> Select the AddressableAssetSettings asset and change anything, for example toggle the "Send Profiler Events" and save
-> any previously changed settings in the profile is suddenly also shown / updated properly in the version control changes and saved to file
-> close / reload project and all profile changes will properly (re)load

Seems to be the same issue: https://forum.unity.com/threads/addressables-labels-wont-save.558649/

Which was fixed(?) in other versions, but im using all new versions Unity 2021.3 LTS and Addressables 1.19.19 (which is the newester version available in the Package Manager)

Maybe @TreyK-47 knows more about the fix/bug?

Using 3.5f1 LTS also with Addressables 1.19.19 and would very much like this fixed. It's extremely annoying.
    Thanks for the workaround @R1PFake!

It costed me 2 hours until I've came across this thread. Could it be considered as a subject to fix?
    PS Unity 2023.1.1
    Addressables 1.21.14
