If the OP had named 'the forum' or 'this topic' at least once, I wouldn't suspect this was a bot or incoming spammer.

Typically, spam-bots are created with the purpose of scamming people.
But this is just... nothing? No shady hyperlinks? No product names? No too-good-to-be-true deals?
I don't get it; what's this one's purpose?

 

Possibly for forums that don't let you include links in your first post? Just guessing here.

 

@Vryken there are also spams, specifically designed for time wasting.
You spending reading gibberish for no reason and start tinkering, what "person" try to say.
Then you got some one, who replay directly. Hence spam worked.

It happens all the time. Spammer seed accounts a decent amount of time in advance with innocuous post, then either edit them or spam later. Most forum software disallows or flags accounts who post links on their first post.

Yep I see them often too. This is why I think this particular spam in OP, is just "time waster".

 

Sure, but the spambot does not necessarily know this.

 

It's not a hard rule, (no links in the first post), there is a combination of things that prevents bots from posting. Most bots/spam gets caught/prevented from posting (or pushed into the moderation queue). The ones that do get through are probably less than 1% of the total spam. Which is sad.

This post is most likely junk, I didn't completely wipe them on the very unlikely chance they are not, they can still contact support. But... the OP says nothing about games or unity or even software, and constantly references the "topic" of this forum. Also, since there is no application/approval process, it is pretty much junk.

 

Must not be Google. I tried taking @zombiegorilla's post and running it through multiple languages before bringing it back to English to see how badly it would be butchered and it came out largely intact.
