Feedback Thank you for DOTS

    Just wanted to write something to express my appreciation for the DOTS/entities set of packages.

    I have been a long-time fan of the ECS architecture for game development. I have had my eyes on DOTS and its development for a while, but have been waiting for it to stablize more. With the release of 2022.2 I finally allowed myself to try it out, and wow it is good. Previous to DOTS I have hammered together my own solution for writing game logic in an ECS-oriented way. It has become so much easier with the package; not to mention the quality-of-life features and the potential speed improvements too. Overall I found entities quite easy to pick up and use, only encountering minor difficulty finding the right API from the right classes.

    Very much looking forward to the future of DOTS as a whole. Cheers to the teams.

    Thank you especially for not discontinuing it.
    I'm sure it was a rough year in 2020/2021.

    DOTS is the Future.
