How do I load textures from paint.net and apply them to the faces of a cube?
Like 4 of the faces are going to be one thing,, and the other two are going to be another thing.
    How would I do this?
    Thank you.

P.S: Posts I looked at didn't really explain how to import or how to only apply to faces.

As far as I now, you can't do that in unity, you need to do that in a 3d sofware and then import your model with textures in unity.

Either that or you could simply build your own cube on the fly utilizing the Mesh class.
If you don't want to build a mesh, you can also build your cube using GL.
It's super trivial, really, and just takes a couple of minutes to implement.

GUI texture are for GUI, not to put textures on meshs. To use a GUI texture, just create it then drag your texture from your materials folder in the slot in the inspector. But you have to understand that Unity is a game engine, not a 3D software.

Yes, you can create your models in Blender and uv unwrap them to get the result you want.
