    Hello,

in the project I'm working on, I'm creating textures at runtime and compressing them with Texture2D.Compress in WebGl. This compresses them into DXT5 format.

Then I store these textures onto a server and download and load them in a mobile application. This works fine for android as it supports DXT5 format, however iOS doesn't.

From what I've found WebGl supports ETC formats. However Texture2D compress doesn't allow to choose the format it is compressed to. Can I force it to use ETC somehow?

I saw a recent post about something maybe related being added to 2022 LTS release, however I'm developing on 2021 LTS.

Would this solve my problem if I upgrade?

    Thanks
