I'm rubbish when it comes to texturing and I do not enjoy it, but I do enjoy the modelling (not so much sculpting) so I have been doing low poly models which I'm pleased with the result.

When it comes to the texturing I struggle. So the most obvious solution is to have a single colour for each section of a model. (example, I did not make this, the credit goes to someone else.

I personally don't like this style as it looks...undetailed? Basic? (it's just my opinion) I'd rather put more detail in but my artistic ability has its limits. I can't see the light at different angles and the variety of colours etc.

I don't want to use someone else's work, I'd rather do it myself.

Is there any style that would suit my ability? Please post examples. Thanks!

I was using the scene as an exmaple as I didnt want to go for this style despite the easiest to create
