Question texture sampler (URP) explicit derivatives?

I am looking for details about achieving this in Unity
it is used to fix the seams from polar coordinate texture(s) without needing to disable mip maps

you can see the seam in this example as I turn it off and on

though i found a way to hid them, it is far from ideal
