I upgraded to 3.5 and now changing max size in the texture importer seems to have no effect when working in Flash platform mode. For example when I have a 1024x1024 texture and I set max size to 256 and hit Apply, it still shows me the 1024x1024 texture. Only when I switch platform to something else and make the changes there and switch back to Flash, can I see the changes made. There are no overrides for any platforms and the problem is the same with all my textures. Other texture import settings seem to work fine except they have no respect for the max size. :(

I'm also having the same problem. No matter how I try to limit the texture size for Flash, the export always comes out the same size, and it appears to not be respecting the max size settings in the editor.

    I'm getting the same problem!
    This is pretty annoying >_<
It was resizing the textures correctly for awhile, then it just stopped working after awhile for no reason that I know of.
The textures resize correctly if I make a new project, so I guess some part of the project has been corrupted somewhere...
Does anyone know how to fix this?
I guess the best thing to do for now is to back up your larger textures and resize them manually for the assets folder.

Same problem with Unity 3.5.1, resize cannot be done when Flash platform is selected.
