Bug Texture Import Setting Issue

    Hello everyone, I have a strange issue with my project, I can not change the texture import settings to anything other than the "default" I want my Textures to be "Sprite 2D / UI" when i change and hit apply it reverts back to "default". any help on this issue?

    Unity Version: 2021.3.0f1
