Texts are missing on android build

    Can you reproduce this in the editor in play mode? We have a similiar issue with Text Mesh Pro on Android.

    Inside the editor (play mode) works fine

    Any info on this? Was avoiding migrating to Unity 2019 because upgrading to new Unity version is always a buggy hell, but ended up migrating and am having this same problem with all TextMesh elements (non-UI).

    EDIT: on Editor it works fine, it doesnt work on Android production build

    Update: in fact my text isnt missing. It's just totally misplaced (including Z) and also with the wrong size. I have no idea what is causing this. And this happens only on Android. This game is very old and stable, this problem was caused by upgrading from 2018.latest to 2019.1.9. I couldnt find a bug report for this, or a forum thread that specifically talks about this problem, so I will continue to post here meanwhile.

    Ok, finally made it work. After around 20 builds, on each build I would change 1 little detail and try again... finally it worked. I had to disable "SRP Batcher (Experimental)" on the LWRP settings (LightweightRenderPipelineAsset on inspector).
