TextMesh Pro TextMeshPro crashing UWP (hololens) build on startup

    I've downloaded the latest version fresh from the asset store and imported into a working project in 5.6.0f3. The application builds fine but when launching crashes immediately (no splash screen).

    I just built a project targeting Hololens and then opened the project in Visual Studio to test / play it and it worked fine. Try those followings steps, if that's not how you are already testing this.

    i should have specified i am testing on a device. in the meantime i can try targeting the emulator but had an issue enabling hyper-v

    it seems to be a missing dependency on deploy, all good now!

    Try the new release available for download in the top sticky post in this forum.

    Let me know if you still have the issue with the new release?
