[Textmesh Pro] How can I use a Unity Font asset in the Textmesh Pro Font Asset Creator?

    Hello,

    I am trying to use a custom font I created from a sprite sheet in TextMesh Pro. I have laid out all the characters, and the font works in the normal UI Text box. However, when I try to create a TextMesh Pro Font asset from the font, it fails, giving me the message

    This also happens when I try to create a font from the default unity Arial font asset. I'm able to create fonts from TTF files, but that really doesn't help me since I need to be able to create fonts from a sprite sheet.
