Terrible quality

    Your Collab why so bad quality? Constantly mistakes, hovering.

    Is it so hard to read the documentation and implement GIT normally ?

    Or are you just too lazy? Explain?

    Today the next mistakes which don't allow to work normally to people:
    [Collab] ExternalAPI::Failure: A request to Unity accounts has failed with HTTP status 503 Service Unavailable. Please try again. If you continue to see this error, please restart Unity.

    Yes, the ExternalAPI failures are annoying, especially since they will trigger a new 'Checking for changes' operation when the connection to Unity accounts is restored. We have excellent internet here, and still get these failures.

    Thank you, we were looking everywhere for that! :)

    The ExternalAPI::Failure errors are actually a result of when Collab is unable to reach our authentication service during the rare occurrence of when there's an outage on their side. It has nothing to do with our implementation of Git. If you're running into other errors with Collab then please let us know so that we can help troubleshoot them for you.

    @MattT5 you're right that it's made all the worse when this happens and it triggers the "Checking for changes" prompt. v2.0 of our package should help to mitigate the pain if that does happen again. We'll be promoting our latest preview package of v2.0 within the next week or so.

    Slight correction - we promoted a new version of 2.0 late yesterday. :) You can read more about it in the release notes here.

    Interesting! Am going to try that asap. Staring at progress bars is great, but it gets boring eventually.
