    Hello,

    Sorry if this has been asked before. I checked the blog posts and searched the forum and didn't find relevant information about this. The terrain tiling feature is only for authoring purposes or does Unity actually do memory/rendering optimization with this? If so, could one be so kind as to explain what kind of runtime optimization occurs?
