Terrain System and HDRP light layers?

    After hours of searching and fiddling, there currently seems to be no way to have the terrain be configured to use a different HDRP light layer than the default layer. Working around this is doable in our game, however it would also take many hours of tweaking most of our game meshes off of the default light layer. Is there a plan to support light layers in the terrain system in the future? Is there a timetable for adding support?

    After more time, I have found it is unworkable using the Terrain System with HDRP in our scenario. Does anyone know if there is any work around like creating a custom terrain shader that only utilizes a specific light layer?

    I just wouldnt build a game using terrain + HDRP at this point, its in flux and too many of the necessary features dont work or are subject to change
