Terrain Holes are no more working on URP (Unity 2021.2.5f1)

    Hi,

    We have been building our game for several years now and at some point Terrain Holes have broken. When we paint new holes to the terrain and move the scene view camera, we can see the draw buffer getting overriden as shown here: upload_2022-7-24_15-2-38.png

    Instead, there should be walls and other ground terrain visible.

    When we do not move the scene view camera, you can only see black: upload_2022-7-24_15-3-30.png

    We are using URP with Forward Renderer and Terrain Holes are enabled in URP Asset.

    Any ideas on how to fix this issue? Thanks!

    Switching to Deferred Rendering mode seems to fix this issue but no idea why. Forward Rendering used to work previously. upload_2022-7-24_15-32-25.png
