Question Terrain grass and trees see through fog of war

    There is no mention to what version of Unity it applies to. Yes this makes a big difference, and this could be outdated info. Do yourself a favor, and grab a decent FOW asset off the store (some are free), and save time and move on with your project.

    Time is the enemy, lol...

    I have the same problem and there is zero known solutions for this. But if it doesn't annoy you, try changing ZWrite On to Off in your foliage shaders.

    I would use cutout for all, is much faster and solve all transparency issues.

    I use cutout in my grass shaders to great effect, can add wind easilly too in vertex shader.
