I spent about 12 hours baking a scene with a large terrain (4km x 4km) and the terrain does not show any shadows. The terrain is marked as static of course, and is also included in the lights culling mask. However, as you can see here, the ground objects shadows do not cast on the terrain. Any ideas?

    Hi

Can you provide me with how all the settings look for the terrain and the scenes lighting?

    Thanks :)

Your terrain most likely doesn't have enough texel density to support fine details, such as crisp baked shadows. You could increase the lightmap size, but given how large your terrain is, it won't be enough.
A much better approach would be to make use of mixed lighting modes. In that way, you would be able to take advantage of baked indirect GI, and realtime shadows from your objects.
