Terrain cookie cutter in Unity using a spline

    Hi all.
    I am looking for a solution to cookie cutter high detail terrain in Unity.
    Ideal workflow > export a closed spline as fbx from 3DSmax that is dropped to the terrain and it would cookie cutter the terrain within the engine.
    Similar to how ShapeMerge compound Object "cutout mode" works in Max.
    Has anyone seen a tool that can do this?

    Microsplat will let you mask off holes but it will never work like you want.

    I think Microsplat only works on Unity's built in terrain. We would need it to work on static exported mesh's from 3DSMax as FBX.
