Terrain brush stuck on map

I am pretty sure its some combinations of buttons i accidentally hit while getting in the groove of playing with terrain. when i am using the terrain tools and following tutorials at some point in time my terrain brush just gets stuck on the screen and acts like im holding down a shortcut button like size or rotate. moving the mouse does whatever the shortcut its stuck on wants but i can't seem to get it to release. i've tried hitting the shortcut button again or another one but nothing seems to work. i end up having to start all over again.

anyone know what combo of buttons i am hitting on my keyboard so i can pull them off since i can't trust myself not to constantly hit them?!

Yes same thing it's so really annoying since there's no way to cancel it without knowing the button. Even when pressing undo it's still stuck there and i had to load and make the whole terrain again.

 

Press the Play button and that should solve the problem in most cases.

 

Did you eventually find a solution?
Looks like I got the same issue. The Play button didn't help.

Same problem. Thanks for the play "fix" though. I was closing & reopening before. This is so much quicker!
