terrain brush not working... help

Hi, I'm very much new to all this just so everyone knows I have been following a tutorial on youtube and I saved my work for the night and came back the next day, and now I can't make or edit the terrain. and no settings have been changed at all. can someone help me? I'm using unity 2019.3.15f1

 

Does your terrain have a Terrain Collider on it? Is the Terrain Collider enabled?

 

yes to your response. I had it set to paint texture and not raise or lower terrain.

Hello, I am having the same problem, but I do have the raise or lower terrain selected. I get no response from my brushes. Someone said to check the opacity of the brush, but I can't find where to do that. The thing is, I was able to raise and lower the terrain, and now for some reason nothing seems to work... Any (very basic) assistance would be appreciated! This is my first exposure to this and I've been doing it for about 2 days....lots of YouTube vids as the Unity documentation is well over my head.... TYIA!

 

Remove the brush mask filter. That worked for me.
