[Asset Store] [Documentation] Hello there! We are pleased to announce the release of our new editor tool. This tool helps you adjust terrain height data to 3D objects. Sometimes during environment design, this brush can come in handy to adjust the height of the terrain to the elements. The brush sampling position and angle from colliders when you dragging on it. This tool is a lightweight package that won't mess up your project. Useful for blending roads / rocks to the terrain, or create ramps. Features Adjust terrain height and slope Smooth edges Customizable brush size / falloff / spacing / etc. Works as continuous brush Different blending types Dockable window Key shortcuts Undo / Redo support Lightweight Limitations Need Collider on target object Works only in editor Each feature described in more details in the Documentation. Also most of inspector settings have tooltips with additional notes. Hello there. I have a road in the form of a combined material FBX over my terrain. It is an Easyroads3D road that has been finalized and combined. At some parts of my terrain, the road does not perfectly meet my terrain. I would prefer not going back and recreating the road. That's why I got your tool. Sadly, when I use your tool, my terrain does not come up to meet my road. Instead, your tool digs further under where the road already is. I'm not able to choose my road as what your tool references, so I'm confused as to how it would know what to raise or lower the terrain to. It just appears to be randomly lower the terrain- without regard to my road. I am using Unity 2020.3. The road was combined into a single material with MT Assets Easy Combiner as an FBX. If you can help me make this work, I'll be happy to not ask for a refund. I have no clue why this isn't working. It doesn't seem like your tool 'sees' my road. I am also using CTS on my terrain, if that makes a difference.
Brilliant! Developer asked if my road had a collider on it yet. If it didn't, that could be the problem. Doh! Developer was correct. It didn't have a collider. Problem solved (I think). Thank you!
Hi @G90SW , I was running into a problem with my high DPI monitor (4k) monitor. The brush doesnt line up with the cursor, were you aware of this bug? are you able to fix this? Thanks!
Hi @G90SW Could add support for placing a list of terrain, unfortunately you can only select one at a time :/
