It is important to present what you are working on or what kind of project you are looking for clearly when posting in this section. This template is meant to provide a basic set of information you should include in your thread to ensure anyone interested in collaborating on a project can make an educated decision about reaching out to you.

Please feel free to write your own structure, but it is highly recommended that you include all of the relevant information.

When choosing a title for your thread, please consider that the genre or a brief description of the project makes for a better title than a project name. A project name may change but the genre/topic is what will make people click on the thread.

To signify whether you are looking for contributors to work with you on a project or whether you are looking for a project to work on, please use the appropriate prefixes when creating your thread.

You can use tags to further increase the visibility to the right audience.

Some general guidelines that will help to make the most out of your thread:

• Relevant images, at least one, are very useful and worth including.
• Spelling and grammar are worth double checking.
• Be honest and straight forward.
• Be brief without leaving anything important out.

Template for Teams:

Introduction & Summary
In a few sentences, explain who you are and what you are looking for.

Project Type/Genre & Platform
What are the primary genres/categories that your project fits into and what platform are you initially planning to target?
e.g Third Person Shooter PC, Racing Sci-Fi MAC/PC, 2d Infinite Runner ios, MMORPG ect.

The Idea
Provide a small explanation about the core idea of the game. Try not to go too deep into the specifics of the story or the mechanics but people need to know what they'd be working on and perhaps what makes it unique.

Progress
It is important to present the project in its current state. Consider presenting

• Number of team members and their role/work they have done.
• What you have accomplished or got done so far in the project.

If you just have an idea and are not actually an artist or programmer, consider presenting your idea to an already existing team, expecting other people to make a game for you is a long shot, particularly if the game is large in scale.

What We Are Looking For
Outline if you have any requirements for new members and what roles you need the most.

Contact
How anyone interested can contact you
e.g Skype name, Discord, email address

People may try to contact you by messaging you directly on the unity forum via the Conversations system. It is recommended that you specify whether or not you respond to private messages in the forum. If you do want people to be able to contact you directly on the unity forum, make sure private conversations are enabled in your profile settings.

Template for Individuals Looking for Teams:

Introduction & Summary
In a few sentences, explain who you are and what you are looking for.

What I Do
Explain what your potential role in a team would be. Roughly outline how many hours a week and for how long you'd be able to work on a project and give a brief evaluation of your abilities.

Experience
How long have you been doing this, what are some of the things you have done up to this point. Screenshots of past projects or links to your portfolio are highly recommended.

Interests
Outline what genres or kinds of projects you would particularly like to work on.

Contact
How anyone interested can contact you
e.g Skype name, Discord, email address
