Didn't Unity 1.0 created a simple HTML document when you exported to web?

If so, has this been eliminated from Unity 1.0.1?

It does. You can get to it buy hitting "build and run" and then cmd-clicking on the title of the window in safari.

    Gotcha.

    I was just doing "Build".

You might want to provide an option that makes both the HMTL and applet file without previewing. Sometimes you just want the files, not a preview. Maybe a checkbox for the HTML document?

The html file gets generated always.
It is just a bit hard to find but it is always in the Projects Directory/Temp/BuildingPlayer folder.

Not exactly sure where i should put it instead.
The idea was that just replacing the html file next to the web player would be a bit harmful since users might have modified it already? Not sure if that makes sense. I am not really happy with the current solution.

How does director and flash do it?

Since the user is asked for adirectory to output the applet file and HTML to each time they are generated, I would think it would be okay. MacOS wil ask if they don't mind overwriting the existing file (if one exists) - that seems safe enough to me.
