Hello Guys. I know this is kind of a silly question, but I'm a little confused by some terminology. I understand Unity is considered a game engine, but what do you call assets or pieces of code used in a Unity that game developers re-used for future games?

    Prefabs or prefabricated content.

I call previous reused work prefabs, makes sense

I call non-art based asset store things 'extensions'

Pieces of code that are re-usable are usually called helper libraries, as they help the developer achieve something more quickly than if they had to re-write it from scratch each time.

Developers write this code as a library that is easily re-usable and extendable.
