I've scanned a fairly large number of irregularly shaped small objects using photogrammetry and I'd like to be able to teleport around them as if they were massive (they are scale models). In theory I can do that by placing teleport areas around them but it would be so much easier if I could just set the entire mesh as a teleport area. The problem is that if I do that the material is changed. I could use teleport spots I know but again that involves placing a lot of them and stopping the user from exploring freely.

I found a fairly old thread where someone got into the Steam VR code but its beyond my skill level and I'd don't really want to break the existing functionality. Is there any simple way to make a mesh teleportable without wrecking the material?
